25 March 2022, Brussels – The European Digital Payments Industry Alliance (EDPIA) condemns the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation. Its thoughts are with the people of Ukraine and all those affected by the lasting war.
EDPIA notes the key role financial transactions and payments play in implementing the restrictive measures defined by the respective authorities. EDPIA’s members adhere to existing sanctions and will continue to fully cooperate with European authorities in putting them into effect.
